Devon is Heaven

The sun is shining & The Brill Plaice in Stoke Fleming just above Blackpool Sands is serving lip smacking fish & chips (we also had plaice & chips, & they have smoke salmon wrapped cod & chips!) The wild orchids are blooming at Gallants Bower (perfect place for a picnic) & we have a few super late weeks left at Bay Tree House in June. Call us 01803 839267 for more details.

We never tire of the walk to the Castle taking in Warfleet Creek (above) en route. Something yummy with a hot chocolate at the tea rooms, catch a few rays down on Castle Cove, explore Sugary Cove or enjoy the flowers (primroses now, bluebells next) up at Gallants Bower. After all that the little ferry back to town gets us close to the water.....
